that amplify and uplift MENA/SWANA* communities and narratives. Through bold storytelling, original music, and richly layered sound design, we create immersive spaces that invite deep cross-cultural listening. Meem proudly creates work that affirms the rights of all human beings to freedom of movement, expression and self determination and we operate our company according to these values.

*MENA (Middle East and North Africa) is a common geopolitical term for the region that includes countries such as Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Egypt, and Morocco. SWANA (South West Asia and North Africa) is a decolonial alternative that emphasizes geographic accuracy and cultural self-definition over Eurocentric naming.
